Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and how to get it deleted. Written in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
Skewed Perception Media-Works (“SPM”, “we”) is a marketing and multimedia studio in Houston, Texas. We run this website, build websites for clients, manage advertising, and operate JustPost, a social media scheduling service. Contact: skewedperceptionmedia@gmail.com.
What we collect on this website
- Forms you send us (contact, project onboarding, JustPost signup requests): name, business name, email, phone, and whatever you type or link. Submissions are emailed to us and stored by our website host (WordPress.com / Automattic).
- Basic analytics: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, via WordPress.com Stats and, where enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. We use this to see what is working. We do not sell it.
- Cookies: only what the host and analytics tools need to function. No advertising cookies are set by this site.
What JustPost collects
JustPost lets a business connect its own social media accounts and schedule posts. To do that it stores:
- Your account: email, password (hashed, never readable by us), company name, and billing status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Connected channels: when you connect Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Pinterest, X or another platform, that platform gives JustPost an access token, your profile or page name, ID and avatar. JustPost uses the token only to publish the posts you schedule, read the post results you ask for, and show analytics for that channel.
- Your content: the posts, captions, images and videos you upload or schedule, and the results (likes, comments, reach) the platforms report back.
- Usage logs: timestamps, errors and IP addresses needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To provide the service you asked for: publishing your posts to your accounts at the times you chose.
- To bill you (via Stripe) and to send account emails such as activation, password reset and failed-post alerts.
- To support you, if you ask us to manage your account (the “Managed” plan) or help with a problem.
- To keep the service secure and fix bugs.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your content or your connected accounts for anything you did not schedule. We do not run ads inside JustPost.
Google and YouTube
JustPost’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Business Profile and YouTube data are used only to publish the posts and videos you schedule and to show you their performance. YouTube features use YouTube API Services and are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke JustPost’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X
Each platform gives JustPost only the permissions you approve on its consent screen. You can disconnect a channel inside JustPost at any time, which deletes its token from our systems, and you can also remove JustPost from the platform’s own “apps and websites” settings. We follow each platform’s developer policies, including Meta’s Platform Terms and TikTok’s and LinkedIn’s API terms.
Who else touches the data
- Hosting: JustPost runs on hardware we control in Texas, reached through Cloudflare. Uploaded media is stored with Cloudflare R2. This website is hosted by WordPress.com (Automattic).
- Payments: Stripe, Inc. Their privacy policy governs card data.
- Email: transactional email may be sent through Resend or Google Workspace.
- Analytics: WordPress.com Stats, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity (website only).
We share data with these providers only to run the service, and with law enforcement only when legally required.
How long we keep it
Account and content data stay while your JustPost account is active. When you delete your account, or ask us to, everything tied to it, including connected-channel tokens, scheduled posts and uploaded media, is deleted within 30 days, except invoices we must keep for tax records (7 years). Website form submissions are kept for up to 2 years. Analytics is kept in aggregate.
Your choices and rights
- See, correct or export your JustPost data: email us or use Settings inside the app.
- Delete your account and data: Settings → Delete Account inside JustPost, or follow our data deletion instructions.
- Disconnect any channel at any time inside JustPost, or from the platform’s own settings.
- Texas, California and EU/UK residents have additional rights under applicable law (access, deletion, correction, portability, opting out of sale). We honor those requests for everyone; email skewedperceptionmedia@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed. Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest and never shown in the interface. Our servers are not exposed directly to the internet; all traffic passes through Cloudflare. If we ever have a breach affecting your data we will tell you promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new date and, for JustPost customers, email you.
